About Midday Mindshare
This event is part of Midday Mindshare, a monthly series created for CIC Members to learn, connect, and recharge together. Each month highlights a different topic led by innovators, founders, and subject-matter experts who bring valuable insights to our community. Every session offers fresh perspectives designed to support both personal and professional growth within the CIC ecosystem.
About this session
Join us for a 60-minute interactive lab for braver conversations, cleaner feedback, and teams that can truly breathe again Facilitated by Kira Troilo: Founder & CEO of Art & Soul Consulting and creator of STAGES, a theater-forged operating system for leadership teams.
Most teams brace for impact, leading to over-editing, tiptoeing, and swallowed feedback. This session shifts teams from "brace-mode" to "breath-mode" using a simple, theater-inspired system for clearer, more caring collaboration under pressure.
What it is & Who it's For
A warm, practical workshop for leaders and teams navigating speed, change, and complexity. Participants will connect, practice, and leave with immediate, actionable tools to combat misalignment and rework.
The ACT Framework
A — Align with Context

C — Co-Create the Container
Establish expectations, clarify decision-making paths, and proactively manage potential friction.
T — Take Notes
Offer clear, actionable feedback that strengthens the work while respecting the humans behind it.
Participants Will Leave With
- A "Breath First" conversation script for immediate use
- Tools to spot and shift "brace-mode" patterns
- A micro-practice for giving/receiving clean feedback
- A repeatable "rehearsal mode" move for meetings
About Our Speaker:
Kira Troilo
Kira Troilo is a Boston-based mother of many passions, all connected by three common threads: creativity, storytelling, and—most importantly—emotional connection.
Whether she is writing about her experiences as a Biracial Mom on her blog, performing onstage in another character’s skin, choreographing contemporary dance, or facilitating conversations around equity, diversity, and inclusion, her goals remain the same: to be authentic, to share openly, and to listen wholeheartedly with a growth mindset.
